No Gingerbread House at Grand Floridian for Christmas 2025—Here’s Why
If your holiday Disney dreams include the smell of gingerbread and spotting that giant cookie cottage at the Grand Floridian… brace yourself. For 2025, the iconic Gingerbread House is officially on pause. (We gasped too.)
Why the skip? The Grand is deep in a glow-up. Lobby renovations are in full swing, and there’s just no room—or peace and quiet—for a sugar palace right now. The display celebrated its 25th birthday last year, so we’ll call this a well-earned nap.
Tip: 💡 If your little ones were pumped for the cookie house, pivot to other magical must-sees! Plenty of resorts (we’re looking at you, Beach Club and Contemporary) are still rolling out sweet displays, and the Grand Floridian will still be decked out in Victorian holiday style—just minus the edible real estate.
